About the Event
We are celebrating the AHEPA Family Chapters of Long Island Greek Flag Presentation in the front of the Nassau County Executive Building with the Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11 am. (If the weather is not good then the event will take place inside upstairs in the press room and all will be welcome upstairs as well). We will have the Carnegie Hall singer Anggeliki Psoni singing both the Greek and American National Anthems.
We are kindly asking all those that plan on attending this free event open to all to arrive by 10:30 am and to have time to find parking either at the LIRR parking garage in Mineola, NY across the street from the Nassau County Legislature building or on the street where available. We will have complimentary Nisstisimo baked goods by one of our corporate sponsors PANDORA Bakery/KABIR’S Bakery and hot coffee and refreshments on the left side of the front of the building. The Empire State District 6 Governor of AHEPA Dean Moskos and the Empire State District 6 Daughters of Penelope Governor Eleni Damaskos-Christou will be in attendance and speaking. The Supreme President Brother Jimmy Kokotas and Region 3 Supreme Governor Ted Stamas may also be in attendance depending on schedules.
